Official Implementation of Arunachal Monitoring System
CM Pema Khandu, inaugurated the official implementation of Arunachal Monitoring system, a satellite-based monitoring and geotagging system for all the projects executed under the state government. The foundation of Zen garden was laid to mark the day at Civil Secretariat, Itanagar by CM who also launched the same project last year on 9th of June 2018. CM congratulated State Remote Sensing Application Centre, GoAP and Department of Finance and Planning, GoAP on successful execution of this project. Using Satellite imagery, a project is identified and geotagged. A web interface was developed where geotagged project can be viewed on map and track the developmental status.
CM brought forward the aim and objective behind this project saying “Satellite Monitoring will bring transparency and better accountability, check corruption and enable quick decision making”.
Event was also attended by Chief Secretary Satya Gopal, RWD Minister Bamang Felix, WRD Minister Kamlung Mossang and DGP SBK Singh.
